“It is a right to have access to information and knowledge, and to know how to access it and use it, to be able to be an integrated citizen of a democracy”.
The Basic ICT
We often believe that the students know more than us about the computing. In one way that’s right, but it depends on what kind of knowledge we are talking about.
The young ones live with their digital tools, in a real digital life. We cannot change that.
But, we know the strategy of learning, and we know how to pick the right tool for the job. By knowing basics in the most used and useful programs you can combine your knowledge with the understanding of the new tools, and you become a better teacher, and a happier teacher. And if you’re uncertain; ask your students.
